'Ronnie Cramer's watercolor is a great slightly stylized street scene that turns an everyday image into an interesting arrangement of lights and shadow. The interplay of warm and cool colors is almost abstract in its design and yet when you squint the painting becomes a realistic and accurate depiction of strong light playing on the surface of the building and the car. The underlying line drawing gives the piece some good structure.' - Mark Silvers, Western Regional Exhibition
