My primary guitar for over twenty-five years: the Gibson S-1
(Note that I replaced two of the single-coil pickups with humbuckers)

RC's Current Effects Setup
This is the signal chain diagram for my Ambient/Experimental music
RC's GUITAR EFFECTS SIGNAL CHAIN: Gibson S-1 > Morley ABC Router > Guyatone OD2+ Overdrive > Guyatone MD3 Delay > Digitech Jam Man > DOD FX-17 Volume/Wah Pedal > Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner > Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive > Boss DF-2 Feedbacker Distortion > Boss HR-2 Harmonist > Boss PH-2 Super Phaser > DigiTech Synth Wah > DigiTech XXD Digital Delay > DigiTech Jamman Looper > DOD FX-17 Volume/Wah Pedal > Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive > Ibanez Tube Screamer > Guyatone WR2 Wah Rocker > Ross Phaser > Boss DM-2 Delay > Boss RC-2 Loop Station > Boss DD-6 Digital Delay > Crest Power Amp

RC's 1980s Effects Setup
By way of contrast, here's the alternative rock setup I used twenty years ago
(Keep in mind there were three other people producing sound!)

RC's 1980s SETUP: Gibson S-1 > Boss TU-12 Tuner > Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive > Boss BF-2 Flanger > Ross Phaser > Boss DM-2 Analog Delay > Ross G1240 Amp

Speaking of the 1980s: a few years back my friend and former bandmate Tammy Olson made a couple of programs about the '80s Denver/Boulder music scene for Radio Free Colorado.

The shows include songs by Alarming Trends (our band), The Aviators, Bop Street, Crank Call Love Affair, The Pink, The Transistors and many other groups of the era. Here are links to the MP3 files: Part One | Part Two
